Greetings, and Welcome to my voice acting demo page.

I’m a trained and seasoned actor/director, having creatively worked in the Los Angeles area and abroad for over 30 years.

Nothing brings me more joy than reading, hearing and speaking the written word. I’m also a professional copywriter, so I innately understand the soulful work and worth poured into the interpretation of carefully crafted words.

My passion for voice acting began in the late 70s as a teenage radio show talent/producer in the organization, Junior Achievement. We broadcast from WMVO Radio, a local radio station in Mount Vernon, central Ohio. As a demanding training ground, I created the show’s format, met with business owners, sold the commercial spots, wrote the ad copy, and recorded the ads that aired on the radio. As a one-man show of sorts, I gained tremendous respect for the entire voice acting process behind and in front of the mic.

After high school, I earned a BFA in Acting from The Ohio State University, then embarked on a creative wanderlust that found me working in Paris, China, Hawaii, and Los Angeles. Along that journey, I developed an affinity for professionally performing the iconic holiday spirit of Santa Claus that continues to this day. I’ve been blessed to perform for clients such as the City of Beverly Hills, The County of Los Angeles (Dorothy Chandler Pavilion), the Ritz-Carlton, The Four Seasons, The Bel-Air and the Viceroy L’Ermitage hotels, The Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Mission, The Santa Barbara Yacht Club, and hundreds more. More than any other role, Santa’s character has taught me how to listen, and how to speak from the heart.

Words used by clients and colleagues to describe my vocal qualities are calm, commanding, sincere, soothing, authoritative, warm, sexy, genuine, convincing and fun. I strive to discover the clear and consistent character (or characters!) of every narration and project ahead. For me, voice work never grows predictable or cookie-cutter. Rather, it’s always a hunt for a treasure trove of emotional meaning and storytelling expression.

You will find that with my level of professionalism and passion I bring to my work, I’m the right talent for your next important project. I look forward to speaking with you. Stay healthy and safe.

Cheers.
